Completing a Trainer and Assessor Matrix

This course builds the knowledge needed to complete and evidence a Trainer and Assessor Matrix in line with the Standards for RTOs 2025 (including Standards 3.2 and 3.3). Learners explore the purpose of the TAM and its role in workforce approval, the difference between training and assessment credentials and vocational competency, and how to record credentials, industry experience, unit level evidence and professional development. It emphasises building a strong, verifiable evidence trail, distinguishing vocational competency from industry currency, understanding the RTO review and approval process, and treating the TAM as a living workforce record.
