Developing a Training and Assessment Strategy

This course explains how to develop, apply and maintain a compliant Training and Assessment Strategy for a nationally recognised training product. Learners work through the purpose of a TAS, how to interpret training product requirements on training.gov.au (packaging rules, prerequisites, licensing, assessment and workplace conditions), and how the learner cohort shapes delivery mode, amount of training and support. It also covers selecting assessment methods and evidence, applying the principles of assessment and rules of evidence, confirming trainer and assessor requirements and resources, and monitoring, reviewing and continuously improving the TAS, including how to manage superseded training products.
